Book Review

Review

In the following I will review the dramatic novel ' Thirteen Reasons Why ' , written by Jay Asher, is about a teenager who commits suicide and sends tapes with the thirteen reasons.
' Thirteen Reasons Why' is Jay Asher's first novel which was published in October 2007. It was tremendouly successful from the start, was translated into many different languages and won several awards in different countries.
This is the story of the teenager Hannah Bakerwho sends tapes to the people who are connected to the thirteen reasons why she commits suicide. She sends the tapes with a map. The People can see where she was. Hannah is new in town. Clay Jensen is an outher person who the author describes in detail. After Hanna's suicide he gets a box with tapes in it, which Hannah tells her story on.
In the book are two main characters (Hannah and Clay) and also 14 outher characters who all have her an influence in Hannah. The name of the town and  the state of the country is not given, but it is probably in the USA in the 20. or 21. century.
'Thirteen Reasons Why' is going about 229 pages and it is easy to read an understand.
In my opinion the dramatic novel 'Thirteen Reasons Why' is a good and exciting book, because the author shows the feelings of Hannah and which influence these people have on her very good. Jay Asher makes the book with adjectives more atractive for the reader. The whole story shows you, how important influence is.
In my summary I would say it is a good decision to buy the novel 'Thirteen Reasons Why', because it could change your live, your thinking.
